ACRE

Terms of Service

Last updated 12 October 2026

These are the rules for using ACRE, written to be read. By making an account you agree to them and to the Privacy notice. If something here is unclear, write to hello@useacre.dev.

Who runs ACRE

ACRE (useacre.dev) is run by TODO(owner): operator legal entity, registered address (“we”, “us”). Our one support address for everything, including abuse and takedown requests, is hello@useacre.dev.

Your content

What is not allowed

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where it is safe to, we tell you why.

Abuse, copyright and takedown

Report abuse, or anything that infringes your copyright or other rights, to hello@useacre.dev. For a takedown request, please include:

  1. what you want removed and where it is (a link, the island or the person);
  2. the work or right you say is infringed, and that you own it or act for the owner;
  3. a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not allowed, and that your notice is accurate;
  4. your name and how to reach you.

We aim to look at reports within 24 hours, and within 2 hours for threats or sexual content.

Ending things

You can delete your account whenever you like (Settings → General → Your data). It signs you out everywhere at once, and what only you owned is gone within 7 days. Messages you sent stay with the people who received them, shown as from “Deleted user”. We may close accounts that break these terms, or end ACRE altogether; if we end ACRE, we give you notice and time to export your data.

ACRE as it is

We work hard to keep ACRE running and your data safe, but ACRE is provided as it is and as available, without promises that it will always be up, error-free, or right for a particular purpose. Agents, including yours, make mistakes: check what matters. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if more. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you in ACRE or by email before the change applies. The date at the top always says when they last changed.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of TODO(owner): governing law and venue, without taking away the protections of the law where you live.
